Cernobbio’s Village
CERNOBBIO – TOURIST INFO:
A special mention should be made for the Cernobbio‘s village (very close to Comocity), famous for the luxurious “Villa d’Este“.
Our farmhouse near Como, it’s a few km from Cernobbio also; which is therefore: easily accessible by car or by public transport, available in the area of Lake Como (AFS Linea – from Argegno).
In Cernobbio, it is possible to enjoy the splendid lakeside promenade, many commercial / craft activities and there is also the important “Villa Erba“, famous for various cultural, institutional, commercial and exhibition events (in the “pre-covid” era, it housed very important events, both internationally and locally, such as, for example: “The International Competition of Elegance of Villa d’Este” – “L’Orticolario“).
Cernobbio, is a renowned tourist resort of international level, from which it is also possible to easily reach the suggestive and panoramic funicular of Brunate (Como).
From Cernobbio, moreover, it is possible to make multiple mountain excursions; reaching the top of “Monte Bisbino“, for example (where there is also a beautiful mountain refuge, with an excellent food and a breathtaking lake Como and Cernobbio’s town view).

Remark: The Al-Marnich farmhouse is about 20/25 minutes by car from the beautiful Cernobbio: you can reach it by car or by public BUS (40/45 minutes), which can be taken from the bus stop dedicated to ASF buses, in the main square of Argegno (Como).
